Yojana Dehankar
Yojana is a self-taught artist from India with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. Inspired by her father’s pencil sketches from an early age, Yojana has developed her own unique style through mastery of oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums. Reflecting India’s rich cultural tapestry, her art captures the country’s beautiful landscapes, diverse portraiture and fantastic mythological history through abstracts that narrate her own personal interpretation of traditional scripture. She has won several awards, both domestic and international, and held exhibitions in prestigious galleries across India, Australia and The Czech Republic.
Yojana lives in Mumbai, India with her husband Milind, son Akash and her beloved beagle, Nemo.
